MAY DAY 2010
|
May Day celebration, aimed to express our gratitude to the non teaching staff whom we call uncles and aunts, was held in Don Bosco School, Liluah, on the 30th of April 2010. The programme began at around 11.45 a.m. with the lighting of the diya by Father Rector and the representatives of the non-teaching staff. This was followed by an address by Father Rector drawing attention to the significant contribution of our dear uncles and aunts in the maintenance of the institutiom.
![]() ![]() Students of Don Bosco School, Liluah depicted the various ways our uncles and aunts provide indispensable service to us. The magic show by Sir Neville Reay and a student of Class-VIII presented interesting tricks that kept us entertained. The songs by the music band and the dance organised by Class-XII were equally entertaining.
The powerpoint presentation highlighted the services of all the non-teaching staff and included appreciation from the teachers and Father Raphael, who acknowledged the significance of their services rendered to us. Our dedicated uncles and aunts were given a token of appreciation by Father Rector. Uncle John, on behalf of all the non teaching staff, expressed his sincere gratitude for the recognition of their services. Finally the programme ended with a note of thanks by Br. Jose recognising the value of the services of the non-teaching staff.
