Friends week - 2009
Friend’s Week was celebrated fron the 22nd to the 26th of June this year, in which the students participated enthusiastically. The week began with ’Mobile Quiz’ for classes 6-8 held in the lunch break. On the spot prizes were given, which attracted the students. On the second day, tongue twisters were held for classes 9-10 in the lunch break. The ’Know Your Friend’ event was held after school hours, by which friends got to know each other better. The pictures for the Caption Contest, the situations for ’Handle With Care’ and the rules for the ’Articles on Friendship’ were put up on the Friends Group notice board. On the fourth day, tongue twisters were held for classes 11-12 in the lunch break. The inter-club Treasure Hunt was took place after the school hours, on Thursday. The boys had to find all the letters of the word ’FRIENDS’, in possession of various boys in the school. After a lot of hard work, LTS and Scouts emerged as winners. Enormous entries had come for the Caption Contest, Handle With Care and Articles on Friendship by Thursday. Exciting gifts were given for all the events on Friday. The Friends also enlightened the students by giving informative speeches in the morning assembly. Thus the Friends week instilled a positive impression in the minds of the students, by giving an enriching and growth-filled experience to them.
