The middle school (Classes 6 to 8) aims at preparing the students for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
The curriculum (academic as well as co-curricular) attunes to the core concept of National Education Policy, 2020. The subjects taught are Moral Science, English, Second Language (Hindi/Bengali), Third Language (Hindi/Bengali), History, Geography, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology), Maths and Computer Science. Physical Education, Library, Creative Writing and Elocution classes are a part of the weekly time-table to add vibrancy to the course of study.
The curriculum is uniformly split up setting monthly goals culminating in two term end assessments. The monthly learning outcomes are evaluated on a regular basis by means of Class tests, Unit tests, Class Work and Home Work evaluations. Projects and Activities are specifically designed to stimulate all the senses to vivify the learning process.
The students are provided with ample opportunities to implement their knowledge and exhibit their skills in various Intra and Inter School Competitions. The essence of the middle school curriculum is a perfect blend of theoretical and activity oriented instructional methods; employed for the holistic development of the students
