DBL Free Evening Coaching Classes

Coordinator - Fr. Dilip Mondal

The DBL free evening coaching classes started under the aegis of the Past Pupils’ Association on 31 January 1976, with a noble mission of imparting basic education to the young underdogs of society.
Initially, it had a meagre number of students, but slowly grew from strength to strength and became a small middle school (up to class 8).
Currently, it caters to the needs of 600 students and is an independent unit, looked after by the institution. There are around 14 teachers mentoring the students. To ensure money does not become an impediment to study, textbooks are provided at subsidized rates. No admission or tuition fee is charged for their entire school life.
Once the students finish their school term till Class 8, they are encouraged to get themselves admitted to NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) to complete standards X and XII.
